The SF(a) workshop embraces the concept of “together” in all its facets, therefore acknowledging the importance of collective unity. In the realm of cinema, individuals from many disciplines, including students, tutors, architects, designers, artists, engineers, and photographers, engage in a collective exploration, analysis, and exchange of ideas. Within this shared space, they engage in activities such as viewing, discovering, discussing, arguing, learning, working, debating, and evaluating, as well as augmenting and enhancing their understanding of a subjective and intimate reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exhibition \u2013 SF(a) Season 3 at FABLAB Ia\u0219i<\/a><\/strong>
On\u00a04 June 2024<\/strong>, the exhibition\u00a0SF(a) \u2013 Society. Film. Architecture, Season 3: A Clockwork Orange & Brutalism<\/em>\u00a0was installed at the\u00a0FABLAB Ia\u0219i events space<\/strong>. The exhibition showcases the creative outcomes of the third edition of the workshop, including alternative posters and literary\/film reviews inspired by dystopian cinema and brutalist architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosted in partnership with FABLAB Ia\u0219i<\/strong>, the exhibition will remain open to the public until summer 2025<\/strong>, offering students, professionals, and visitors the opportunity to explore the visual and critical reinterpretations produced during the workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Exhibition \u2013 SF(a) Season 4<\/strong>
The concluding exhibition of SF(a) Society. Film. Architecture<\/em> Season 4 took place at the \u201cG.M. Cantacuzino\u201d Faculty of Architecture in Ia\u0219i<\/strong>. The event brought together students, graduates, tutors, and invited lecturers to showcase the creative outcomes of the workshop: 54 alternative posters and 11 literary & film reviews<\/strong>inspired by Blade Runner 2049<\/em> and the theme of Hypermodernism. The exhibition was accompanied by a round-table discussion with organisers and jury members, and culminated in the award ceremony<\/strong>, which recognised the most original and critical works. The closing event gathered a wide audience of participants, academics, practitioners, and members of the local community, celebrating the collaborative and interdisciplinary spirit of SF(a). On Wednesday, 23 October, at 14:00<\/strong>, the itinerant exhibition SF(a) \u2013 Society. Film. Architecture, Season 3<\/em> will open at Baia Turceasc\u0103, Ia\u0219i<\/strong>. The event is part of MUST \u2013 Architects in the Community<\/strong>, co-organised by OAR Ia\u0219i<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Itinerant Exhibition<\/a> \u2013 SF(a) Season 3 in Cluj-Napoca<\/strong>
Between 31 October and 2 November<\/strong>, the itinerant exhibition SF(a) \u2013 Society. Film. Architecture, Season 3<\/em> will be hosted at Cinema Arta, Cluj-Napoca<\/strong>. The event is part of the national dissemination of the project\u2019s results, presenting alternative posters and literary\/film reviews inspired by dystopian cinema and Brutalist architecture.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
