Each edition revolves around a cult film and its associated architectural paradigm, combining theory and practice in a collaborative format. The project fosters creativity, critical thinking, and dialogue across disciplines, engaging students, architects, artists, and researchers in a shared experiment of reimagining the built environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Seasons Timeline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Season 1 (2022)<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;<em>Blade Runner &amp; Postmodernism<\/em><br>The inaugural edition explored how Ridley Scott\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Blade Runner<\/em>&nbsp;intersects with postmodern architecture, questioning fragmented urban realities and dystopian imaginaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Season 2 (2023)<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;<em>Metropolis &amp; Modernism<\/em><br>Drawing on Fritz Lang\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Metropolis<\/em>, the second edition reflected on modernism\u2019s utopian promises and their cultural implications through poster design and critical writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Season 3 (2024)<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;<em>A Clockwork Orange &amp; Brutalism<\/em><br>Inspired by Stanley Kubrick\u2019s&nbsp;<em>A Clockwork Orange<\/em>, the third edition interrogated brutalist architecture and its role in shaping social control, memory, and critique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Season 4 (2025)<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;<em>Blade Runner 2049 &amp; Hypermodernism<\/em><br>Focusing on Denis Villeneuve\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Blade Runner 2049<\/em>, the fourth edition investigated hypermodernity and dystopian futures through a week of lectures, workshops, and exhibitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Season 5 organised by the Romanian Order of Architects \u2013 Ia\u0219i Branch (OAR Ia\u0219i) in partnership with the ALT+A Association.
