Architecture<\/em>, Nely V\u00een\u0103u is an architect and Teaching Assistant at the \u201cG.M. Cantacuzino\u201d Faculty of Architecture in Ia\u0219i. Her academic and cultural interests revolve around the intersections of architectural theory, dystopia, and cinematography. She is the author and co-author of several books and articles exploring the critical role of architecture in contemporary culture.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Tiberiu Teodor-Stanciu<\/strong>. An architect driven by optimism and a strong passion for graphic design, wayfinding, and cultural memory, Tiberiu is the founder of Atelier Spre and Memorat. He has authored several books on the history of Ia\u0219i and is a Teaching Assistant at the \u201cG.M. Cantacuzino\u201d Faculty of Architecture. His work bridges historical research, visual storytelling, and design experimentation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

R\u0103zvan Mircea Nica<\/strong>. Associate Professor and Vice-Dean of the \u201cG.M. Cantacuzino\u201d Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University of Ia\u0219i, R\u0103zvan is the founder and curator of ArchSynopsis<\/em>, a digital platform dedicated to interpretive drawings and non-hierarchical connections between architectural references. He is also co-founder of ALT+A, a cultural NGO fostering interdisciplinary experimentation across architecture, film, and the arts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Seasons 3 and 4 of\u00a0SF(a) \u2013 Society. Film. Architecture<\/em>\u00a0were organised by the\u00a0Romanian Order of Architects \u2013 Ia\u0219i Branch (OAR Ia\u0219i)<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0ALT+A Association<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seasons 3 & 4 of this project were supported by the Romanian Order of Architects, from the Architectural Stamp Duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The ALT+A Association<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The ALT+A Association<\/strong> is a non-governmental, non-profit, independent, apolitical, and public-benefit organisation. Its mission is to promote education, research, cultural and artistic exchange, and social responsibility, with a particular focus on architecture, urban planning, and visual arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Founded by architects Nely V\u00een\u0103u, Tiberiu Teodor-Stanciu, and R\u0103zvan Mircea Nica<\/strong>, ALT+A has, since 2022, been organising the SF(a)<\/em> workshop and lecture series. This initiative uses science-fiction cinema as a shared reference point to question architecture and society. Each edition is structured around a cult film and its corresponding architectural paradigm:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Metropolis<\/em> (Fritz Lang, 1927) \u2013 Modernism<\/li>\n\n\n\n
